We had a very successful Wood Products & Technology trade fair!

This year 72% of Swedish sawmills were represented at the Wood Products & Technology trade fair, which is said to be the top meeting place for the future of the timber industry in the Nordic region.

As usual, DataPolarna were present as part of SawTec's stand, and we can only confirm the fair’s reputation. After the pandemic years, we finally had the perfect opportunity to meet customers and prospects face-to-face once again.

The fair was well-attended, as was our stand, where visitors could familiarise themselves with our wide product portfolio, which contains a number of products to help streamline operations for sawmills, planing mills and other companies in the timber industry.

“We had many rewarding ‘live’ meetings with both current and potential customers. Being physically present simply gives a totally different feeling than a digital meeting. We were able to discuss and explore issues face-to-face. Our participation also resulted in a large number of planned customer visits with interested companies later in the autumn,” says CEO Anders Marklund.

During the pandemic period, the majority of customer visits have been cancelled, but on the other hand we’ve been able to focus more on developing and supplementing our SawInfo system, SISS, SIPal, SIProd and so on.
