Very successful fair participation at Ligna

In the middle of May, for the ninth time, we went to the major trade fair LIGNA in Hannover. We participate there because we think it is an increasingly important marketing channel for our broad product portfolio for sawmills.

- It was really fun to be down there again, since there has been a break since 2019 due to the pandemic. We are very pleased with our participation. The interest in our products was very high and the visitors to our stand came from pretty much all over the world. Many from Sweden, Germany, Austria, France and Norway. But also from countries such as Estonia, Romania and New Zealand, says CEO Anders Marklund.

We made lots of new contacts and had set an ambitious goal for the number of new leads outside the Nordics. We exceeded that goal by a whopping 50%!

The greatest interest from the visitors revolved around our package logistics software, SIPal. As we develop it all the time, there is always a lot of new things of interest that attract the eye. A big advantage for us this time was also that we now have Thomas Haiduga, a German-speaking sawmill engineer among our employees. Many of the visitors are German-speaking, so that naturally facilitated our discussions with the visitors at the stand. We also shared the stand this time with Sokigo, with whom we also have the GPS Timber product. Around the stand construction, we also collaborate with two other industry companies; Renholmen and Alent.

- Now we have a huge program ahead of us to visit our leads after the holidays and receive stakeholders who come here to Sweden, to see our products live in production at several of our customers. We really want to thank all visitors, and of course mostly those who invited us to visit and those who want to come here to Sweden, concludes Anders Marklund.
