It’s good to receive attention in local media

Norran, the local newspaper in Skellefteå, recently published a special forest edition. It included a long story about DataPolarna.

“We think it's especially great that it was the newspaper that sought us out and wanted to write a story about our company and our products,” Managing Director Anders Marklund comments. “Even though we are a leader in our niche in many respects, most Skellefteå residents probably are not aware that we exist because up to now we have had a pretty low profile in the eyes of the outside world that is not involved in the timber industry."

But we are aware that in the future we probably will need to spread the word about Datapolarna and our successful products much wider in order to become more attractive when it comes to recruiting staff for the company, which is constantly expanding.
