At the end of August, we took part in the Wood Products & Technology Trade Fair in Gothenburg. For several years we’ve been a member of Sawtec, which is a major trade association for Sweden’s leading sawmill suppliers. In our joint Sawtec booth, we displayed what we have to offer when it comes to improving production in the industry.
“The trade fair was, as usual, very well attended, and there was a great deal of interest in our products among the visitors,” Managing Director Anders Marklund says. “Our SawInfo Sales Support product (SISS) has quickly generated intense interest among people in the industry, which is gratifying for us, of course. We developed many new, interesting contacts with companies that we now are going to visit in the autumn. My calendar is rather crammed, it’s safe to say.”
In conjunction with the trade fair, we also arranged the last Sawtec Days of the year.
“This also created a lot of interest. No doubt many attendees took advantage of the opportunity to combine a visit to the trade fair with Sawtec Days and all the interesting presentations we made there. Overall, the results of our participation in these events is very positive because it also gives us the opportunity to meet many interesting entrepreneurs face-to-face and listen to their concerns,” Anders adds.
