Great interest in Ligna for our products

DataPolarna participated for the seventh time at the major trade show Ligna in Hannover, which took place this year between 22 and 26 May. A trade fair that we really think has developed into an increasingly important marketing channel for our broad product portfolio for sawmills.

"We are extremely pleased with our participation. The interest in our products was really big and the big difference from previous years is that visitors in our booth came from virtually the whole world. Previously, it has mostly been Swedish and Nordic visitors, but this time we had many visitors from all over the world, including Australia, Germany, England and Latvia. And it also feels like there was a new record regarding the number of visitors", says CEO Anders Marklund.

The concept of a collaborative booth, together with Renholmen and Alent Drying, made many visitors to visit us. We are given the opportunity to attract a wider audience, who will learn more about our products and the common know-how we have about sawmills, further processing and product development in the sawmill industry.

Joakim Sehlstedt, who is Key Account Manager in the field of SawInfo products, finds that the fair participation is tough but interesting.

"Because the fair lasts for a whole week, it is quite hard to stand in a booth from 9 to 18 every day. But since the interest in our products is so great, it still feels great fun. You will always meet new customers and prospects who want to know more, and at the same time give us valuable feedback, which is valuable in our ongoing development work."

"Now we've got a lot of new interesting contacts that we are following up, some who directly want quotes on our solutions, but also those we need to inform and visit. In addition, there are a lot of interesting suggestions for partners for our exciting future development", says Anders Marklund.
